Maine Gov Ties Yellow Ribbon On Blaine House Tree

AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) — Maine Gov. Paul LePage and First Lady Ann LePage are honoring Maine’s military members by tying a yellow ribbon on a tree outside of the Blaine House.

The Republican governor says that troops home and oversees deserve thanks as well as their families “for their patience and willingness to support their loved ones when they are away from home.”

First Lady Ann LePage is encouraging all Mainers who know a service member to put a yellow on a tree to support them.
