Driver Walks Away from Rollover in Levant

State police say an inexperienced driver combined with sloppy roads led to a rollover in Levant  Monday morning.

They say a 16-year-old girl lost control of her car on Wing Road.

The car went off the road and landed in a ditch.

The driver made it out safely and walked away from the crash.

Police say the road was slushy at the time, too.

Trooper Adam Gould with Maine State Police says, “Slush gets in your tires and basically just sucks you right off the road and it can be just as dangerous as ice. They’ve been getting some snow in and out throughout the day, so please just slow down and watch out for other drivers and be aware of the road conditions.”

We’re told the car had significant damage from the crash.
