Police To Discuss Probe Of Pa. Road-rage Shooting

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Police from two states plan to publicly discuss their investigation into the shooting death of a Maine man in an apparent case of road-rage.

State police from Pennsylvania and Maryland plan to participate in the Tuesday news conference.

Investigators are working with the FBI to find a small dark-colored pickup truck with damage to the front quarter panel or driver’s side door. It also may have silver paint scrapes from the car of victim Timothy Davison of Poland, Maine.

Davison was driving home on Interstate 81 after visiting relatives in Florida when he was slain early Saturday, a few miles north of the Maryland line.

Police say the pickup apparently chased Davison following a dispute and rammed his car onto the median, where the driver or a passenger shot him.
