Cold Christmas Day, Snow Thursday Night

Temps will be quite cold today behind the cold front that has moved offshore. More sun for today, Christmas Day, as the high pressure system moves into the area. It will stay quite cold tonight. We could see a few snow showers in far eastern locations this morning with a weak trough in place. By Thursday temperatures will return to around normal with partly sunny skies. Thursday night is our next chance for some light snow as a weak low pressure system moves through the area. It looks like we’ll pick up about 2 – 4” from this event. By Friday we’ll see some sunshine return as a second high pressure system moves closer to us. It looks like it’ll stick around for Saturday too. There will be another chance for snow showers Saturday night.
