Show Must Go On At Penobscot Theatre

The show must go on. At least that’s the mantra the Penobscot Theatre Company was saying on Sunday.

Despite the icy conditions outside the theater still kept their scheduled 3 PM show.

Those who were unable to make it out on the roads to attend we rescheduled for a different date.

The company’s current production is “Cinderella: A New Telling of an Old Tale.”

“Which is perfect for people of all ages. There’s a dancing bear who throws candy into the audience with a tennis racket. Every kid in the audience gets the opportunity to try on the glass slipper. It’s been a big hit for us and we’re really proud of it,” said Bari Newport, the Artistic Director for the Theater.

The next scheduled showing for Cinderella is on Monday.
