The show must go on. At least that’s the mantra the Penobscot Theatre Company was saying on Sunday.
Despite the icy conditions outside the theater still kept their scheduled 3 PM show.
Those who were unable to make it out on the roads to attend we rescheduled for a different date.
The company’s current production is “Cinderella: A New Telling of an Old Tale.”
“Which is perfect for people of all ages. There’s a dancing bear who throws candy into the audience with a tennis racket. Every kid in the audience gets the opportunity to try on the glass slipper. It’s been a big hit for us and we’re really proud of it,” said Bari Newport, the Artistic Director for the Theater.
The next scheduled showing for Cinderella is on Monday.
