A man accused of firing 70 shots from his apartment window in downtown Bangor on the Fourth of July changed his plea to guilty in federal court Thursday morning.
44-year-old Perrin Oliver is charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.
In court, Oliver admitted to being schizophrenic. His attorney believes he was not on any medication when the incident happened.
He’s facing up to ten years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
Oliver will remain behind bars until he’s sentenced.
