A man accused of killing a former accountant from Trenton then posing as the victim for more than a year has been indicted on more charges.
44-year-old William Morse of Mount Desert is charged with the murder of 61-year-old Richard Bellittieri.
Bellittieri’s body was found last summer.
Morse has pleaded not guilty.
This month the Hancock County grand jury also indicted him for eluding an officer, driving to endanger and driving with a suspended license.
Police first caught up with Morse in July after they say he led them on a high speed chase on his motorcycle.
They say they also stopped Morse a week later, driving the car that belonged Bellittieri and that Morse had the victim’s Social Security card, driver’s license and two of his credit cards.
