U.S. Coast Guard Rescues Lobster Boat Captain

The U.S. Coast Guard rescued a lobster boat stuck in the ocean Sunday morning.

The 33-foot vessel “Just In Time” became disabled and started taking on water about 1 mile east of Jonesport.

Authorities say, the captain was the only one on board.  He thought he hit a mooring ball.

He was able to put on a survival suit before Coast Guard crews reached him.

The boat is still floating in the water. Officials, say the captain will return Monday to try and retrieve it.
