The Salvation Army Angel Tree program is up and running, and they have kids and families who are in need of gifts this Christmas.
You can find the Angel Trees at the Bangor Mall. The Salvation Army says they have more requests for gifts from parents than ever before.
The gifts are delivered to parents on December 20th.
“We have many angel tree tags left at this point we’ve had more families sign up for help this year that we have had in years past and also because we had a later start with the later Thanksgiving we have many more tags that are still waiting to be taken,” says Captain Tim Clark, Corps Officer, Bangor Salvation Army.
The Angel Trees are outside Macy’s and JC Penney. Just pick the tag up of the child you would like to shop for and buy what is on their tag.
Then bring the gift and tag back to the Angel Tree. The last day to shop for kids in need is December 17th.
