Governor LePage and small business administration regional administrator Seth Goodall were at Beal College Friday when new programs were announced.
Beal will offer a new business management and entrepreneurship concentration.
College president Allen Stehle says they hope to help students take their business ideas into the real world with success.
“So Beal College is trying to train as many folks as we can that inspire them to start their own companies because that’s how economic recessions end and prosperity begins,” said Allen T. Stehle, Beal College President.
Stehle says about 90% of students come from local communities and wind up using their skills in local economies.
