Budding artists are encouraged to head to downtown Bangor Saturday, December 7th.
The University of Maine Museum of Art is hosting it’s annual Art Factory and Family Fun Day.
A variety of art stations will be set up throughout the museum.
You’ll be able to make cards, ornaments or even a gift to give someone this holiday.
Eva Wagner, Education Coordinator, says, “They’ll be able to paint landscapes with water colors. We have some print-making activities. the ornaments are very simple ones where they can use glue or more intricate ones where you can sew. So there’s something for everybody.”
The Art Factory is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
It’s free, thanks to WBRC Architects and Engineers.
The event is part of a number of activities leading up to the annual Festival of Lights Parade Saturday afternoon.
