Some four-legged stars will be taking to the stage this month.
The Bangor Humane Society and the Penobscot Theatre Company are teaming up.
Dogs up for adoption will be in the spotlight.
They say 17 out of the 20 dogs that were shown during the production of “Annie” last year were adopted.
They hope to have similar success this year.
“It’s really cool, fun, awesome thing. It gets staff and volunteers really excited to get out there, too, in the community, as well the dogs, and it helps us see them in a different way, too,” said lead adoption manager, Kristin Harmon.
Dogs will be shown before each show of ”Cinderalla: A New Telling of an Old Tale.” It’s running this month.
