Chain Reaction Crash in Bangor

Updated 1 year ago

Black Friday traffic on the interstate in Bangor caused a chain reaction crash early Friday morning.

State Police say, two drivers on the northbound side near the Stillwater exit became distracted watching a driver in the southbound lane change a tire.

They bumped into each other.

The two vehicles then pulled off to the side of the road.

Drivers passing by then got distracted and got into a fender bender.

(Sgt. David Millett/Maine State Police)”Basically they were distracted by what was going on on the south bound lane and due to the heavy traffic bumped into each other.”

One woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
