Some seniors in Belfast enjoyed a classic holiday movie on the big screen Tuesday.
Residents from Tall Pines headed downtown to the Colonial Theatre for a special screening of White Christmas.
Waldo County transportation helped with rides.
Belfast’s Parks and Recreation Department made a special ramp for wheelchairs.
The Colonial has been around for 101 years now. For many in attendance today, it wasn’t their first time in the theatre.
“It makes the effort all worthwhile to see the good time they’re having, laughing with each other, and their families, and they’re just having fun,” said Mary Jo Abbott, activities director at The Commons at Tall Pines.
Some local students took time out of their school break to lend a hand.
