Police are looking for a man who, they say, tried to rob a pharmacy in Dexter Monday.
Witnesses say, around 5 pm, the man passed the pharmacist a note, saying he had a gun and wanted drugs.
When the pharmacist loudly confronted the suspect, he ran off.
State trooper K-9 units and the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office are assisting Dexter police in searching for the man.
He is described as a male in his late 20′s to early 30′s, with brown hair and a goatee, weighing between 170 to 180 pounds, between six-three and six-five.
He was last seen wearing tan pants, a dark blue baseball cap, gloves, a black hooded sweatshirt, a green and white plaid jacket and glasses.
