BATH, Maine (AP) — Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is paying a visit to Maine’s Bath Iron Works.

Hagel plans Thursday to tour the newest destroyer, the stealthy DDG-1000, which is under construction. The stealthy ship, named the Zumwalt, is the largest destroyer ever built for the Navy. It will be christened this spring.
