From the TV 5 Forecast Center:
High pressure will build towards New England today providing us with lots of sunshine today. We’ll remain on the cool side of the high today with highs mainly in the 30s today. Northwest winds will remain gusty today with gusts to 30 MPH possible which will give us wind chills in the teens and 20s at times throughout the day. Skies will be mainly clear tonight and with light winds, we can expect a colder night with lows dropping to the teens in most locales.
High pressure will continue to dominate our forecast for Thursday giving us another sunny day. The area of high pressure will slide to our south though causing our winds to shift from the chilly northwest direction we had yesterday and again today to a milder west/southwest direction which will bring us some more seasonable temps. Thursday’s temperatures will top of fin the upper 30s to low 40s for highs. Low pressure approaching from the west will bring us clouds for the end of the week Friday. It’ll be a decent day overall but skies will be mostly cloudy. Our next round of unsettled weather will arrive Friday night into Saturday as a cold front sweeps across the state. As the front moves through, we’ll see some scattered rain and snow showers. The front will move to our east by Saturday afternoon so the showers will be mainly during the morning hours followed by drier and brighter weather during the afternoon.
