From the TV 5 Forecast Center:
A strong cold front will move to our east this afternoon, bringing the shower activity to an end early this afternoon. Drier air moving into the region behind the front will allow us to dry things out and see some brightening of the sky this afternoon. Colder air will begin moving back into the region tonight under clear to partly cloudy skies. Nighttime lows will drop to the upper 20s to low 30s for the overnight hours.
An upper level disturbance will pass through the region on Tuesday and will provide us with some cloudiness during the day especially over northern locations. The further south you travel across the state on Thursday, the brighter it will be. Northwest winds will be gusty and will usher much colder air into the region with temperatures only topping off in the 30s to near 40° for highs, about 20° colder than today. High pressure will build in and provide us with sunshine and chilly weather Wednesday and Thursday.
Rest of Today: showers ending then brightening skies. Breezy and mild with highs between 51°-61°. South wind becoming southwest 10-20 MPH with gusts to 25-30 MPH possible.
Tonight: partly cloudy and colder. Lows between 26-34°. Southwest wind 5-10 MPH.
Tuesday: variably cloudy, most clouds north. Colder with highs between 33°-40°. Northwest wind 10-20 MPH.
