“Two Minutes at the Gate” is the title of Thomas Morelli’s book.
He’s a long-time professional photographer from Brewer.
Wednesday he was at the Ellen Leach Memorial Home in Brewer to talk about his book.
In it he describes what he says was a near death experience he had when he was 19.
“I bought two. He knows my son, so I thought I’d get him one, send it to him, and that would be exciting for him,” said Carolyn Lainsbury, a resident at the home.
“It’s really neat. Often times when I speak at places such as this, a lot of these people were my neighbors. And, so, it’s really cool to do that. And, success is kind of measured for me as being free to do what you want to do, and being able to write a book, and share it with people is the real freedoms for me, so I am successful in that way, that’s for sure,” said Morelli.
His book is available on Amazon.
You can also pick up a copy at his studio on Wiswell Road in Brewer.
Morelli says he’s working on his second book.
