From the TV 5 Forecast Center:
Strong high pressure will build into New England today providing us with a bright and chilly day. Winds will remain out of the northwest today, keeping temperatures well below average today with highs only reaching the mid-20s to mid-30s from north to south. Winds may occasionally gust to 20-25 MPH today which will give us wind chills in the teens and low 20s at times. We’ll see a few clouds tonight with partly cloudy skies on average. It’ll be cold tonight with lows dropping to the mid-teens to low 20s.
A weak disturbance passing to our north will bring a few clouds into the area on Thursday with skies averaging a mix of sun and clouds. Winds will shift to a milder southwest direction, ushering a slightly milder airmass back into New England. Temperatures will top off in the mid-30s to mid-40s for highs Thursday afternoon. High pressure will dominate Friday and Saturday with sunshine and temperatures in the 40s to near 50°. Pleasant weather will continue on Sunday as the area of high pressure slides to our east. The next round of unsettled weather will enter the forecast on Monday.
