A Mix for Sunday, Becoming Colder by Tuesday

Sunday looks cloudy for the entire day with a mix of rain and snow showers or all rain showers. As far as accumulations go, Caribou might pick up a few inches; in our viewing area Houlton would be the best chance to see maybe an inch or two.  By Monday, high pressure tries to move in from the south, so we will see a mix of sun and clouds for the day. By Monday evening, a low pressure system approaches from the west. This will bring a cold front though the area that will bring everyone some snow showers overnight. Not expecting much in the way of accumulation. Much colder temperatures behind the front. Highs Tuesday will struggle to hit 40, I don’t think we’ll make it there on Wednesday. Another shot at a few snow showers too on Tuesday afternoon. By Wednesday things really quiet down as a high pressure system moves in. It’ll keep things mostly sunny for Wednesday and Thursday.

Sunday: Highs in the upper 30s and low 40s with rain or a mix of rain and snow showers throughout the day. Overnight lows cool off into the upper 20s and low 30s with showers ending in the evening.

Monday: Highs in the low to mid 40s with a mix of sun and clouds to start. Snow showers move in during the late evening or overnight hours. Overnight lows cool off into the low to mid 20s.

Tuesday: Much colder behind the front with highs in the upper 30s and low 40s with partly to mostly clouds skies. A few snow showers develop in the afternoon and evening. Overnight lows drop into the upper teens and low 20s.

Wednesday: Highs in the mid to upper 30s with mostly sunny skies. Cold. Overnight lows drop into the upper teens and low 20s.

Thursday: Mostly sunny and milder with highs in the low to mid 40s.
