The Eastern Maine Healthcare System on Union Street in Bangor was on lock down Thursday morning.
Police say they received a call at 9:30 in the morning from EMHS that they had gotten a call of “threatening nature.”
Bangor Police responded to the hospital and began an investigation. The hospital decided to implement a cautionary lock down. Officers tell TV-5 they made contact with the alleged caller over the phone and at his home.
Police are still investigating the situation.
