A man from Massachusetts accused of getting in a fight with police after being arrested in connection with a string of burglaries in Skowhegan has been indicted by a Somerset County grand jury.
Khotso Ramafola, 28, is charged with burglary, attempted theft, refusing to submit to arrest and assault.
He was arrested in September after police say he was caught shoplifting in a store.
They say he’s a suspect in several other thefts in the area.
Ramafola allegedly fought with a Skowhegan police officer who was taken to the hospital for a deep cut over his eye.
