From the TV 5 Forecast Center:
Strong high pressure will dominate our forecast for the early part of the work week. We’ll see lots of sunshine today and temperatures will be well below average with highs only in the mid-30s to low 40s this afternoon. Skies will start clear tonight then turn partly cloudy late as we see a few clouds associated with a cold front over the Great Lakes region. Temperatures will be cold tonight with lows in the mid-teens to mid-20s from north to south.
Sunshine will prevail again Tuesday with temperatures slightly milder too. Highs on Tuesday will reach the upper 30s to mid-40s. More clouds will start to move in during the day Wednesday as high pressure slides to our east and low pressure moves into the Great Lakes. South/southwest winds on Wednesday will bring some milder air back into the area with highs topping off in the mid-40s to low 50s. Low pressure moves in on Thursday bringing us showers especially during the afternoon and evening hours. The area of low pressure will pull milder air northward with temperatures on Thursday reaching near 60° in some locales. Showers will likely continue Thursday night and into Friday morning before ending as low pressure moves away from New England. Skies will brighten up on Friday and cooler air will move in behind the departing storm with highs mainly in the 40s Friday afternoon.
