Bangor Gamers Playing for a Cause 

While some people are gaming in their homes for fun on Saturday, others are in Bangor gaming to support a good cause.

The “Extra Life” gaming event being held at Game Citadel.

Beginner to Advance-level gamers are playing for 25 straight hours.

The event was founded in 2008 to support a girl with terminal cancer.

Participants form teams of sixteen, and then get donations.

Captain of Team Error Code 207, Chris Kogut said, “From that point forward we get in all together for the team, we put it all in one big pot and we’re gonna be giving it all to the EMHS foundation.”

Teams are playing everything from X-Box, Playstation, and even board games.

They plan to continue on throughout the night and end at 8-am on Sunday.
