Sox fans scrambled today to get their World Series Champions gear.

Olympia Sports at the Bangor Mall was busy with folks looking to celebrate over their favorite team.

The store got in championship shirts Thursday afternoon.

They’re selling them for $25.

One shopper was there to buy some new gear for the parade. He and his wife will be bringing their baby to Boston on Saturday.

“We had a baby in the middle of September and he’s kind of been our good luck charm through this. We give him a lot of credit for the win. I’m excited that it’s also over because those are late nights with a new baby,” said Bill Kimball.

“It makes it a lot of fun to work here obviously. You talk about it all day long with different customers. You might say the same stories over and over, but it’s great to see the excitement on peoples faces when they walk in,” said Store Manager Bill Swift.

The store manager says he expects to get hats and other championship items on Friday.

He says by the number of phone calls and shirts they’ve already sold, things are going to go quick.
