A downtown Bangor restaurant is hosting a party for a good cause on Thursday night.
The owners of Fiddlehead Restaurant are throwing their 4th annual Halloween Benefit.
The money raised will go to the United Way’s Backpack Program, providing food to some Bangor students who need it for the weekends.
” It’s something that we wanted to do right from the get go, to have a charity event at least once a year for the restaurant just to kind of give back to the community that supports us so readily. Everybody usually get hit up around the holidays, so we figured Halloween, people are going to come out and spend money anyways, they might as well throw money toward a good cause,” said Laura Peppard, owner of the restaurant.
The party goes from 9pm to 1am. A $10 donation gets you in.
Costumes are encouraged. There will be a costume contest, karaoke, snacks, and more.
