A man from Mattawamkeag remains in jail on  $15,00 bail, accused of string of burglaries in the Lincoln area.

Authorities say he’s one of about dozen suspects in the cases.

27-year-old Steven Springer appeared in court in Bangor Monday.

He’s charged with two counts of burglary and one count of theft.

Police say two of the burglaries were reported over the weekend at Haskell Lumber and at Rogers Small Engine Repair on Main Street.

A car was also broken into.

Police say Springer had items on him from one of the burglaries and was in clothing seen in surveillance video at another crime scene.

We’re told he’s a suspect in at least twenty other burglaries.

More arrests are expected.
