Rain and snow showers continue overnight tonight ahead of an approaching cold front. The snow will mostly be confined to the mountains/higher elevations and in far northern Maine. A few lingering showers to start out the day on Sunday are possible. We’ll see seasonable high temperatures for the second half of the weekend with a mix of sun and clouds. Overnight lows drop again by Sunday night as skies stay mostly clear. Again a mix of sun and clouds for Monday with rain and snow showers moving in for the afternoon and evening as another cold front moves through the area. Overnight lows Monday night will be cold with some locations possible experiencing upper teens. We’ll clear out on Tuesday as a high pressure system moves in. Temps stay quite cool though with highs only in the low to mid 40s. It looks like it will continue to stay dry and mostly sunny through the day on Wednesday as the high pressure system holds in place. We’ll start out partly sunny on Thursday too but then the warm front approaches the area and brings afternoon and evening rain showers for Thursday night. It will also bring much more mild temps for Thursday night and into Friday. Friday the cold front associated with the same low pressure system crosses the area and brings more showers. Rain could be steady at times. Highs will be above normal Friday.
