From the TV 5 Forecast Center:

A weak upper level disturbance will approach the state today giving us a mixture of sun and clouds. The bulk of the clouds will be over areas north of Bangor with brighter conditions expected elsewhere. It’ll be another breezy and cool day with northwest winds gusting to 15-20 MPH and temperatures in the 40s to around 50° for highs. Skies will be partly cloudy tonight as high pressure builds into the area. Temperatures will be very chilly tonight with lows in the 20s in most locales.

High pressure will slide to our east on Saturday. We’ll start the day with some sunshine followed by increasing clouds as low pressure and its associated cold front approach from the west. As the storm gets closer, we could see a few scattered showers during the afternoon hours Saturday especially for areas north and west of Bangor. Showers will be more widespread Saturday night as the cold front crosses the state. Temperatures will drop into the 30s for nighttime lows so many areas, especially away from the coastline, will have a chance to see some wet snow mix in with the rain showers. The clouds and showers will linger into Sunday morning then clear out and give way to sunshine by afternoon as the front moves to our east. An upper level disturbance will pass through the state on Monday and could bring a few rain/snow showers to northern areas otherwise we’ll see a dry start to the work week. Temperatures on Monday will top off in the mid-40s to low 50s. Slightly cooler air will move in behind the upper level disturbance for Tuesday with highs staying in the 40s.Our weather will remain quiet for the first half of next week then we’ll get a couple chances for wet weather towards the middle-end of the week.
