Legendary Prospect Harbor Plant Worker Dies

Lela Anderson, pictured here, is being recognized for her service in 2006.

A legendary employee of the old Stinson Seafood processing plant in Prospect Harbor has died.

Lela Anderson worked there for more than 50 years

Her co-workers say she was synonymous with the plant and the town.

Lela lost her job when Bumble Bee Foods closed the factory and left town in 2010.

She passed away at her home in Corea.

She was 82-years-old.
