Science is going to be spooky this weekend in Bangor.

The Challenger Learning Center of Maine is holding its annual “Boo! Science” event.

A mad scientist will blow kids’ minds with his laboratory demos.

Then, they will slink over to creepy and gooey hands-on stations to learn more about chemistry, anatomy, and physics.

Organizers say it’s a great event for the entire family, especially for kids 3 to 12 years old.

“So it’s a really neat way to fulfill our mission of getting people excited about science, at the same time, letting them see what the center is like and raising a little bit of money to help support our mission,” said Jennifer Therrien, Education Director and Center Coordinator at the Challenger Learning Center.

“Boo! Science” is from 6 to 7-30pm this Friday and Saturday nights.

To get tickets, visit the website or leave a voicemail at this number: 990-2900 x 1.

Reserved tickets are $8 for children ages 3 and older.

It’s $10 without a reservation, but seating is limited.

You’re encouraged to wear a costume and there will be prizes.
