A young pet lover from Charleston has really reached out to help abandoned animals.
9-year-old Kamryn Commeau emptied her piggybank, giving her entire savings to the Bangor Humane Society.
She sold bracelets collected blankets for the animals there, too.
And she recently won the humane society’s “underdog” award, becoming the youngest person to raise the most money for their Paws On Parade event.
