The Holden Fire Auxiliary is holding a benefit dinner for one of their own.

Retired firefighter David Morrill has suffered a series of strokes, and he’s unable to work.

The fire departments of Holden and neighboring communities are rallying to his family’s side.

There will be a spaghetti dinner and silent auction on Saturday, from 4pm to 8pm at the Holbrook School at 202 Kidder Hill Road.

An account has been set up at People’s United Bank for those who would like to help but can’t make the dinner and auction.

You can donate at any branch to the Dave Morrill Fund.

The money will be used to help heat the Morrills’ home this winter and help with other expenses.
