A Levant man has been sentenced to two years in prison for his role in the burglary of a Corinth convenience store.
Michael Chapman, 38, was found guilty in April of burglary, theft, and criminal mischief.
Police say four people backed a stolen truck through the front doors of the store last summer, took cigarettes and lottery tickets, and then set the truck on fire.
He was acquitted of arson, which the state has appealed.
Chapman was also sentenced to two years probation and must pay $1,000 restitution.
