From the TV 5 Forecast Center:
We’ll see more high clouds moving across the state today with sunshine mixed in. It’ll be a dry day so it’s a decent start to the weekend. Temperatures will be a bit cooler with highs in the 60s this afternoon. Low pressure moving through the Great Lakes will pull a warm front northward towards Maine on Sunday giving us a chance for some afternoon showers especially from Bangor south and west. High pressure will hang on to our northeast keeping northern and eastern areas dry and giving them the best chance for a little sunshine Sunday. Temperatures for Sunday will be cool with highs in the 50s to around 60°. The warm front will lift northward through the state Sunday night and early Monday bringing us more widespread shower activity on its way through. We’ll start Monday with some showers during the morning then things should start to dry out a bit during the afternoon as the warm front lifts to our north. We may see some breaks in the clouds during the afternoon as well. With the warm front to our north, temperatures will warm up a bit with highs expected to reach the mid-60s to around 70° Monday afternoon. A cold front is then forecast to cross the state later Tuesday and Tuesday night giving us another round of showers on its way through.
Today: mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the 60s. Light winds will become southwest 5-10 MPH.
Sunday: partly to mostly cloudy, most sun over northern and eastern areas. Scattered showers possible during the afternoon especially over southern and western areas. Cool with highs between 52°-60°. Northeast wind 5-10 MPH becoming southeast.
Monday: morning showers then variably cloudy. Milder with highs in the mid-60s to around 70°.
Tuesday: mostly cloudy with scattered showers especially during the afternoon. Highs in the upper 60s to low 70s.
Wednesday: mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Highs in the 60s to near 70°.
