The high pressure system that has brought more nice weather yesterday will keep us sunny for today. We’ll see a weak warm front approach the area and bring a few more clouds in for Saturday and into the day on Sunday. By Sunday afternoon we’ll see some showers develop in the area, just ahead of a low pressure system. The low will bring us more rain for the day on Monday. At this time it looks like the remnants of what is currently Tropical Storm Karen will stay to our south early next week so as along as that remains the case then we should start to dry things out on Tuesday.
Temperatures will stay mild for Friday, although will be a couple degrees cooler than Thursday. Saturday’s highs will cool off even more. By Sunday temperatures return to about normal (upper 50s and low 60s). They’ll become a bit milder by Monday and Tuesday after the warm front crosses the region.
Today: Highs in the mid to upper 60s and low 70s with partly to mostly sunny skies. Overnight lows in the 40s with partly cloudy skies.
Saturday: Highs in the 60s with partly cloudy skies. Overnight lows in the upper 30s and low to mid 40s with increasing clouds.
Sunday: Highs in the upper 50s and low 60s with mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers starting in the afternoon. Overnight lows in the upper 40s and low to mid 50s with showers continuing overnight.
Monday: Highs in the mid to upper 60s and low 70s with cloudy skies and rain, especially in the afternoon and evening. Overnight lows drop into the upper 40s and low to mid 50s with rain, becoming heavy at times.
Tuesday: Highs in the low to mid 60s with rain. The rain could be heavy at times as the remnants of tropical storm (or hurricane) Karen move into the area.
