Auto Show Helps Burned Out Family

Advanced Auto in Ellsworth held a car show for a good cause, Saturday afternoon.

The third annual event, featuring all kinds of automotives, raised money to send students to the local fire academy..

They also taking donations for a family who’s home in Lamoine was destroyed by fire earlier this week.

“It’s going to be for the hancock fire academy its to send people to the college, well its an academy, and its going to be from january to june and they’re going to be going every weekend and we’re going to try to get them there for free or as many as we can,” said Ryan Bickford.

Bickford says the cost to send two people to the fire academy is about $1500.
