From the TV 5 Forecast Center:
Low pressure at both the surface and in the upper levels of the atmosphere will continue to slowly move through the Maritimes today and Thursday, moving further away from Maine and allowing conditions to gradually improve as the week progresses. With the storm in the vicinity though, moisture wrapping around the backside of the storm will still result in plenty of clouds for today and Thursday. Our forecast will improve as the week progresses with lots of sun and mild temperatures Friday through the weekend.
We’ll see varying amounts of clouds and sunshine throughout the day with slightly milder temperatures as highs reach the mid-50s to low 60s for this afternoon. Skies will be partly cloudy tonight with lows in the 40s.
Thursday will feature a little more sunshine and slightly milder temperatures than Wednesday. We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds Thursday with temperatures in the low to mid-60s for afternoon highs. High pressure will slide in for the end of the week and through the weekend. We’ll see a great stretch of weather with sunshine and mild temperatures. Temperatures are expected to reach the mid-60s to near 70° Friday and then a couple of degrees either side of 70° Saturday and Sunday.
