Three People Seriously Injured in Corinna Crash

Updated 1 year ago

Deputies say speed and alcohol are likely factors in a crash Monday night in Corinna.

It happened a little after 8pm on Nokomis Road.

Deputies say a woman called to report her car had been struck by another car on Route 7. She said the driver did not stop, so she followed the car.

The woman told deputies she couldn’t keep up with the car, and when she got to Nokomis Road the car was on its roof.

Two men and a woman, all in their early-20′s, were taken to hospitals with what deputies say are serious injuries. Deputies say the people involved in the crash are Deanna Carfagno, 22, of Sangerville, Brennan MeGeoghegan, 22, of Guilford, and Reginald Melvin, 20, of the Dexter area.

One of the men ended up outside of the car, the other two people were still inside. Deputies say it doesn’t look like any of them were wearing seat belts.

One of the men was taken to a hospital via medical helicopter.
