The cold front has now pushed off to our east. A cooler air mass is in place and will bring us some chilly temps to start the week. The low pressure system that the cold front stemmed from is still sitting just off to our north and east. It will hang out there for another day or two which will bring some showers to parts of the state, mainly north of Bangor. Another shot at some showers comes on Tuesday morning as an upper level trough moves through the area. The good news is a high pressure system is moving closer to our area and will bring us sunshine for the second half of the week. By Wednesday, things start to warm up again with highs in the 60s for everyone.

Today: Highs will warm into the 50s. There may be a few residual showers early. Best chance for showers would be north of Bangor. It’ll be variably cloudy. Monday night temps cool off into the upper 30s and low 40s with mostly clear skies.

Tuesday: Highs stay on the cool side. They will only be able to make it into the 50s. It’ll be variably cloudy with the chance for a few showers mainly during the morning. Overnight into Wednesday temps cool into the low to mid 40s.

Wednesday: Mix of sun and clouds with highs in the upper 50s and low to mid 60s. Overnight lows cool into the 40s.

Thursday: Highs will be in the low to mid 60s with mostly sunny skies. Overnight lows cool into the upper 30s and low to mid 40s.

Friday: Highs make it into the low to mid 60s with lots of sun.
