Holden town officials hope you’ll come celebrate fall with them on Saturday.
Their Fall Frolic will be held on Route 1A between the town office and Holden School.
There will be lots of food and entertainment throughout the day.
There will be a dunk tank to raise money for the school.
The fire station will host an open house and other events to raise money for a recently retired volunteer whose had a series of health setback.
Funds are also being raised for the old town hall.
Last year’s Fall Frolic netted more than $3,000 for that restoration.
“It be a blessing to have that finished. I think it would be a great achievement if the town could do that. As I said earlier, all the architecture is well worth saving, and structurally, it’s very, very sound,” said John Butts, the town manager.
The event is from 9am to 3pm.
There will be a live auction at the end of the day.
For more information call the town office 843-5153.
