Fire Fighters Respond to Car Fire On I-395 

A car burst into flames on I-395 in Bangor Thursday, near the Hampden exit.

Nobody was seriously hurt.

It happened just after 7:00 pm.

State police responded with the help of Bangor Fire and Rescue.

The driver of the car tells us he noticed a problem shortly after picking up his girlfriend at Eastern Maine Community College.

Firefighters had the flames knocked out in minutes.

The driver of that car says he’s okay but was burned on his face and arms.
