A charity rodeo in Charleston this weekend will raise money for young patients in need.
The Country Girl Rodeo Company is putting on the event.
They’ve hosted a number of rodeos to benefit local cancer patients and healthcare groups.
Organizers say all of the proceeds from this one will go to Rabekah’s Rainbow Endowment Fund at EMMC.
It’s in honor of 4-year-old Rabekah Hicks, who died of a rare brain tumor.
The rodeo is Saturday, September 21st, at Maple Lane Farms in Charleston.
Registration starts at 10 a.m., riding starts at noon.
Admission is $10 a person or $20 for a family of four. Kids 12 and under are free.
