Fire Destroys Home in Lagrange

Fire crews were called out to the Weymouth Drive in Lagrange around 4:15 Tuesday morning.

A mobile home was on fire, and fully engulfed in flames.

The mother, father and kids, along with the family dog got out of the home okay.

“Everyone got out safely,” says LaGrange Fire Chief Joseph Baker. ” They were down to their relatives that live down the street and were able to seek shelter there and they called from there.”

The Red Cross was called in to help the family out, but it looks like the home is a total loss, and the State Fire Marshal was contacted as crews investigate the blaze further.
