Police: Dogs Stolen Out of Pickup Truck; Owners Offering Reward for Safe Return

Updated 7 months ago

Police say two dogs were stolen out of the back of a pickup truck Saturday night.

The two 6-month-old chocolate Labrador Retrievers were in a kennel in the back of a truck.

The driver of the truck and his wife stopped at a gas station on Moosehead Trail near Newport late Saturday night. Police say when the man and woman came out of the store, the dogs were gone.

Police say there are scratch marks on the side of the truck.

The owners are offering a $1,000 reward to anyone who returns Dozer and Raegan.
