Cluster Balloonist Spends 1st Night on Ground 

A man using 300 helium-filled balloons to try and cross the Atlantic Ocean, spent his first night on the ground.Jonathan Trappe posted on his Facebook page that he landed at a remote location around 8:30 Thursday night. The Associated Press is reporting Newfoundland.Trappe lifted off at sunrise Thursday from Caribou. About 150 volunteers assisted in filling the balloons the night before.Trappe’s goal is to float across the ocean. On his website, the North Ccarolina native wrote that the Atlantic Ocean has been crossed many times and in many ways, but “never quite like this.”
