UPDATE: Armed Men Break Into Home in Orrington

Authorities are on the look out for two men accused of breaking into a woman’s home in Orrington on Monday night and holding her at knifepoint.The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Department says the men wore masks while they robbed the home on Center Drive.The woman told TV 5 News the men didn’t threaten to kill her, but were making aggressive motions toward her.She says they made off with around $90, her laptop computer and cell phone.Police say two masked men were seen at Bob’s Kozy Korner store shortly after the invasion.They say two store customers chased them away.Authorities say there have been other home invasions in Orrington, Holden, Orono and Alton in recent weeks.”We’re actively working together with the Maine State Police on number of home invasions that have occurred around the area over the last several weeks. We’re not saying that these cases are related were saying that were doing a full court investigation to sees who is responsible for these breaks,” said Sheriff Glen Ross. The sheriff’s department seeks information from anyone who might know about a small SUV that’s either tan, gold or silver, and was parked on brewer lake road next to Bob’s Kozy Korner around 7:30-8:00pm Monday night.They believe the suspects left in that vehicle.If you have information, or see anything suspicious, call you local police department.
