Fire in Pittston Determined to be Arson, Two Teens are Suspects 

A house fire in Pittston was intentionally set.That ruling by the state fire marshal.It happened Friday at a home at the corner of Webb Road and Route 126.Fire Marshal Ken Grimes tells TV5 News the home has been vacant for about four years.He says the fire began on the second floor and the staircase leading to it.Investigators say a flammable fluid was used.They believe two teenagers started it. Both had been taken to a hospital for minor burns and smoke inhalation.A firefighter was injured when a chimney collapsed. He was treated and released from a local hospital.Kennebec County’s district attorney will decide whether to press charges.
