Unemployment Benefits May Be Delayed by Computer Upgrade 

A change in the computer program for the state’s unemployment system means some unemployment payments could be delayed by a day or two.Department of Labor officials say part of the computer system will be shut down Wednesday, September 11th and Thursday, September 12th to improve security.That will delay processing unemployment claims.People who file for benefits should still do so as normal. Officials say the program will be back at full service on Friday, September 13th.
